The lodge contained everything you needed and even included a welcome package with goodies in , which was a lovely touch.

Daisy Plus Glamping Pod - August 2026

My partner and i stayed here for a long weekend getaway for our anniversary. The Lodge itself was perfect and the location was just as good. We also got the luxury pamper package which my partner loved, a very romantic touch if that is what you’re going for.

The hot tub was amazing, nice and peaceful especially at night after a long day. There’s a bbq outside along with a full deck and a full kitchen inside with all your essentials and utensils. They also provide lots of information about the local area (like takeouts and eating out places) which is very helpful. We also visited Alton Towers while we were there very convenient being nearby.

The staff in reception/ shop couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful making sure we knew everything before our stay. Overall we both loved it and would definitely stay here again!! From the both of us, thank you!!

Squirrel Log Cabin - September 2026

I have returned here many times before with friends but this was first time with a partner , we have already booked to return next year . I am also returning in October with some friends , something we have done for many years. The staff are amazing and can`t do enough for you . I did have a couple of issues that needed attention but this was dealt with very quickly .

It is lovely to go on a walk locally and have visited the local pubs . I dont tend to go to any attractions but who knows for the furture.

I stayed with my partner, 3 children and 2 dogs in fox Lodge and it was beautiful. The Lodge had everything we needed and more. The staff were amazing and very helpful. We’re already looking at booking up again.

Very quiet lovely location. Staff very friendly and the lodge was so comfortable and had everything we needed. It was clean and tidy and very warm and cosy. Would liked to have stayed longer. Very good value for money.

Value for money was exceptional, the staff very friendly and knowledgable, regularly checking the hot tubs daily and giving guidance on their use. Nothing was too much trouble.

Looking forward to our next break away here from working life.

Celebrating New Year in a very spacious, homely, warm fox lodge which was very clean and prepped for our arrival, including all the little essentials you need for self-catering accommodation.

You wouldn’t tell it was a lodge that allowed dogs, a very high standard offered. We had a fabulous time and will definitely be back for another tranquil break and switch off.

Stayed here last year in badger lodge after it being recommended to us. After an issue with our flight our first thought was to book here. Called from the airport to be told you had 1 cabin left so we were expecting maybe a more basic lodge. We turned up 4 hours after making the booking to a beautiful cabin. Fox lodge. Absolutely stunning and just what we needed. We enjoyed some of the local walks recommended in the book. And ate at some of the local pubs which were lovely and very reasonably priced. The lodge itself was clean and fully equipped with far more than we needed. Beds beautifully made and towels provided. Spotless decking area to and I really love the fact that not only are glasses provided for inside the lodge but plastic 1s are provided for the outside area. Hot tub was lovely and maintained well.

Quarry walk park staff are friendly and helpful the park is lovely and quiet has achildren lay ground and pond loads of pubs around the area, Alton Towers not far from park the shop on the park has tea, coffee, milk, orange and apple juice, twine beer, and lager and bread, toiletries, DVDs and ice cream.

Such a beautiful location and the lodges have everything you could need , so clean and tidy and even had a shop onsite  . Hot tub was the best we have used and was so large and under cover , was so cosy when it was as raining late on the evening , I would highly recommend.

This is a great park for stay and we loved our pod which has mostly all facilities you need, specially having a shower inside the room is a big plus! The location is also nice, you could drive for a few miles and can do walk/hike in peak district. We found it expensive tho, £130 for one pod is quite alot. The only reason I am giving it a 4-star is because of reception and miscommunication. Before arrival, I had multiple emails from them saying reception is open till 7 pm. We wanted to purchase some woods for the firepit and reception lady was not helpful at all. She did not sell us the woods even tho it was during opening hours and we had to drive a few miles to purchase it from Asda, quite annoying! But other than that, we had a lovely stay

We just got back as a family from our woodland escape holiday... the Lodge was so lovely, it well presented with lots of homey touches. The hot tub was already to go which was perfect for the kids. Great customer service with using WhatsApp and friendly staff on the site.  Have to say thank you as my son with autism wrap up his teddy since he had since he was 2 and I didn't realise they rang us up saying we had left him behind,  luckily had family in the area who go and get the teddy for us. However, the signage could be better placed, both before arriving at the site and within the grounds, as it was not immediately obvious where to go or how to find the individual lodges/pods. The lodge itself was comfortable, although a few things in the room were already a little faulty or not working as they should. This was particularly concerning because the terms and conditions state that guests may be charged for broken or damaged items. As some things were already not in perfect condition when we arrived, it made us feel uneasy and worried that we could potentially be held responsible for something that was already faulty, which affected our overall experience. There could also be more plug sockets, particularly for guests needing to charge phones and laptops, as the only convenient sockets were right beside the induction hob. The Wi-Fi was disappointing, especially as it was an additional charge. We arrived after the office had closed and were given the wrong password, meaning we couldn't use the Wi-Fi on our first night and had no one available to help. The office closing at 5pm also felt too early, particularly given the location and the possibility of guests arriving later in the day. Even after the Wi-Fi issue was resolved, the connection was not particularly good. The fire pit was also misleadingly advertised, and unfortunately the money paid for it was not refunded straight away, which was disappointing. Overall, the lodge itself was pleasant, but the customer service could be improved. Staff should be more welcoming, understanding and accommodating, particularly when guests encounter issues during their stay. A more guest-focused approach, with great customer service would have made this trip more enjoyable
