Our lodges and log cabins all come with their own hot tub, so you can warm up after a day of exploring, and our glamping pods and communal firepits are perfect for toasting marshmallows on a crisp autumn evening or a frosty winter night.

Actually gorgeous, the hot tub was so nice, very clean and 98% private. The lodge was spotless and the shower was good. And the wifi was surprisingly fast and cheep :)

Stayed here for 2 nights in the Robin lodge with hot tub . Such a beautiful location and the lodges have everything you could need , so clean and tidy and even had a shop onsite . Hot tub was the best we have used and was so large and under cover , was so cosy when it was as raining late on the evening , I would highly recommend.

This is a great park for stay and we loved our pod which has mostly all facilities you need, specially having a shower inside the room is a big plus! The location is also nice, you could drive for a few miles and can do walk/hike in peak district. We found it expensive tho, £130 for one pod is quite alot. The only reason I am giving it a 4-star is because of reception and miscommunication. Before arrival, I had multiple emails from them saying reception is open till 7 pm. We wanted to purchase some woods for the firepit and reception lady was not helpful at all. She did not sell us the woods even tho it was during opening hours and we had to drive a few miles to purchase it from Asda, quite annoying! But other than that, we had a lovely stay

We just got back as a family from our woodland escape holiday... the Lodge was so lovely, it well presented with lots of homey touches. The hot tub was already to go which was perfect for the kids. Great customer service with using WhatsApp and friendly staff on the site. Have to say thank you as my son with autism wrap up his teddy since he had since he was 2 and I didn't realise they rang us up saying we had left him behind, luckily had family in the area who go and get the teddy for us. Definitely recommend the park and love to come back again.

The online booking process was straightforward, and the lodge is in a good location. However, the signage could be better placed, both before arriving at the site and within the grounds, as it was not immediately obvious where to go or how to find the individual lodges/pods. The lodge itself was comfortable, although a few things in the room were already a little faulty or not working as they should. This was particularly concerning because the terms and conditions state that guests may be charged for broken or damaged items. As some things were already not in perfect condition when we arrived, it made us feel uneasy and worried that we could potentially be held responsible for something that was already faulty, which affected our overall experience. There could also be more plug sockets, particularly for guests needing to charge phones and laptops, as the only convenient sockets were right beside the induction hob. The Wi-Fi was disappointing, especially as it was an additional charge. We arrived after the office had closed and were given the wrong password, meaning we couldn't use the Wi-Fi on our first night and had no one available to help. The office closing at 5pm also felt too early, particularly given the location and the possibility of guests arriving later in the day. Even after the Wi-Fi issue was resolved, the connection was not particularly good. The fire pit was also misleadingly advertised, and unfortunately the money paid for it was not refunded straight away, which was disappointing. Overall, the lodge itself was pleasant, but the customer service could be improved. Staff should be more welcoming, understanding and accommodating, particularly when guests encounter issues during their stay. A more guest-focused approach, with great customer service would have made this trip more enjoyable

Disgusting accommodation Stayed in a dog friendly robin lodge with hot tub. Shower was full of black mould (you are told to shower before and after the hot tub). They admitted it should not have happened and sent someone to clean it only after we complained. Paid for a week's WIFI, got 1 day. They corrected the code after we complained and I told them what else I bought at the same time as paying for the WIFI. Hot tub filter was full of sludge and long black hair. Neither of us have long black hair but apparently it was drained and cleaned because their log says so....really??? Radiator thermostat was missing. They said yeah we have some on order. Someone's used hot tub slipper under the bed. They admitted this should have been picked up by housekeeping. Mattress cover was shredded into holes on all corners. No explanation or apology given. Mattress itself was covered in brown stains even on the underside. They tried saying it was coffee. On both sides, right across and the corners?? I know bodily stains when I see them. If you choose to stay here I suggest you check all these things when you arrive. We left early as I would not sleep in the bed after discovering the filth. Did they offer us ANYTHING as compensation. NOPE Would I ever stay here again. NOPE not in light of their response. See photos

BRILLIANT PLACE What a fantastic place!! We went to Alton towers for the weekend and this place was the finishing touch to our weekend. Couldn’t believe how lovely the accommodation was & the log cabin we had was 10/10. Clean, luxurious, a hot tub but fantastic value!! Highly recommend!! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ … if we had stayed at Alton towers it would have cost is double the price and yet this was way better and only 12 minutes drive!

Love to stay at qurry walk I visit qurry walk every year and spend a week their I love to come here its peaceful and all staff are nice and helpful Iv just finished my trip their I stayed in Fox Lodge 4 (Pet) Lodge which is fully equipped with all you need Its cosy and nice Lodge I do feel some maintenance needs doing in their for example the shower head in the onsweet needs fixing to the wall some on taps loose Im a full time cleaner so I know how it must be done to good standards. I was very disappointed with the cleaning of the lodge Their was cob webs all over the bathrooms and in living room I ended up getting tge brush provided to go around getting rid of them I also noticed the shower drain hole was full of someone else's hair and black mold so so this had also not been cleaned for my arrival also around the taps need a good clean as they are grubby The lamp shades in living room these need a deep clean as they are really dirty . Skirting boards needs attention to I love qurry walk but the cleaning team are letting the place down I did report this to reception to pass to management as its important to arrive to a fully clean accommodation when you pay good money to stay i really hope cleaning improves as this is my only negative about qurry walk

Disappointing - Would never go back We like to try different hot tub breaks throughout the year and was looking forward to trying the Quarry Walk Lodges. Unfortunately, to date, this has got to be the only one that we would say we would never go back to – even if it was free of charge! Plus points, it’s a nice location (one you have navigated the single-track bendy lanes) and the staff are very friendly. Theres a nice little shop on site with the usual necessities, alcohol, cakes, sweets (but strangely no bread). You can also help yourself to a large selection of DVDs to watch in your lodge. Just pick what you want and return it later. Minus points and dare I say there are lots. The lodge we stopped in was well laid out but very dated and tired. On entering there is a musty smell. They seriously need an overhaul. I’m sure in its day they were amazing as on a quick glance they are very nice but the settee was on the point of collapse and we had to sit on cushions and pillows to save nearly sinking to the floor on the settee, the floor under the settee and table could do with a mat or carpet as your feet get real dirty quick. The kitchen in its day was probably great but its seriously tired. Trimming was pealing off / delaminating, the kickboard was just propped up as the moisture had go to it and was too big, around the floor and tiles was either pealed away or no sealant so was a tad dirty. Also the pictures online of this kitchen are not the same as what you get! Again the bathroom is its day was probably nice but trimming was hanging off and the sealant around the bath was black and pealing. There was only one form of heating in the lodge and that was the radiator in the bathroom – there was no other heating so at one point when the temperature dropped we had to turn all 4 hobs on the oven on. The downside to this was that we noticed that this caused fat to drip onto the hob from the extractor above. The bedroom was a nice layout but the bed wasn’t very comfortable – it was tolerable but we were glad to get back to our own. The hot tub was nice, easy to get into due to being slightly sunken into the deck. 10/10 for privacy, but the downside to having a fence all around you is there is nothing to look at other than fence panels – so you can’t really win! Also being a round hot tub it was a struggle to lift off the whole lid to get in. Towels are supplied, small hand towels and a couple of bath sheets. Not sure what these are washed in but could benefit from fabric softener, it was like a free exfoliation! Bath robes are also supplied which is a nice touch. The TV was quite large but in a strange position right by and slightly overhanging the door so you tending to bang yourself on the TV going in and out the lodge. No freeview or anything like that so take a firestick with you – if you can get reception! Major HUGE issue was the reception – I know people like to go ‘off-grid’ but having no phone reception at all is, in my opinion, dangerous! We thankfully were not expecting and phone calls so didn’t realise until 1 day in that there is no signal. The first sign we missed was we knew there was no wifi so took our own dongle – but that wouldn’t work so we ended up paying an extra £15 for 3 days wifi which worked good but as soon as you moved our of the lodge and went anywhere it logged you out and you had to keep constantly signing in. We only realised there was no phone signal when we tried to book a table at a local restaurant and couldn’t get through. We tried various points around the lodge – no. We then drove around the park – no. We then tried right up by reception – no. In the end we had to go into reception and use their landline. What I think is worrying is all those lodges, all that wood – if there was fire that place would go up in flames real quick and nobody would be able to call the emergency services. Likewise with people with dependents at home, any issues and nobody can get in touch with you! All in all, sadly we would not recommend.

Nice but expensive. Easy to find, nice environment and instructions to get in clear enough. Parking for the pods needs is a pain, all spaces full so ended up half on a woodchip pile. Wifi a must as there is zero signal however I dont think the charges are fair. Read the description properly as i didnt and didnt realise theres no oven. Definitely minimal cooking facilities so keep in mind, highlighted as we were not allowed to use bbqs. Smoke alarm is directly in line with the hob, so a lot of breakfast alarms going off from people cooking bacon sandwiches. Also the fridge is tiny. TV didnt work. Beds are comfortable, shower good and powerful although the drainage isnt good so the tray will fill up very quickly. Cleanliness wasnt great, the pans weren't properly clean so started sizzling and burning when put on the hob. And there were cobwebs all round the cabin, few big spiders settled into the top bunk ceiling as well. Its a nice site for just a weekend but I would maintain £150 a night is too much.

Rats Never again ignorant manager not intrested in genuine health and safety with evidence. Log cabin nothing like photos. Rat infestation is a massive issue ,health and safety need to check this place out . Our hot tub had broken side and infested with rat nest ,nothing worked on hot tub so I guess rats chewd electrics so also un safe . My disabled child got foot stuck getting into hot tub hence I noticed the whole one sude broken . The smell of rat urine was terrible and rare running all over decking and table ,the bin area also big prib with rare. When I reported this all the manager said was your in country side their will be rare. I'm sorry but I've stopped in log cabins all over the countryside and never experinced rats or terrible infestations and health and safety issues inside the tub itself . I have photos ,they patched the side of the tub up ,it should have been condemned. On coming home we all had sickness I can't say for sure but rat urine everywhere is my thought .

Not good value for money, lodge really needed updated. We stayed for 3 nights in a Fox Lodge. The location is fine - very rural and peaceful although the roads can be a bit of a nightmare if you meet a car coming the opposite way! The lodge was a good size for the 4 of us and the beds were comfy. However the whole lodge needed a deep clean and update. There were damp patches and cobwebs. The glossy fridge door was covered in fingerprints from previous residents. Would have taken less than a minute to wipe these off. It was surface clean I would say. Unfortunately there were also holes at the bottom of the duvet (not the cover, the actual duvet) which we noticed on the last day. Hot tub was good! Outdoor picnic table needed a clean. I had read previous reviews which said there was a washing machine and tumble drier but when we asked we were told there wasn’t one. Overall - we wouldn’t recommend unless the lodges were updated and maintained to a higher standard. At over £200 a night, we expected more.

Ruined Birthday Stay – Broken Lodge, Fleed Early & Lied to by Management I paid £600 for a two-night birthday stay at Quarry Walk Park, and it was a complete disaster.First, the bedroom TV did not work at all (which management admitted in writing). They tried to offer a late checkout until 12:00 PM to make up for it, but the lodge was so broken and miserable that we couldn't stand being there any longer and fled the park at 10:30 AM anyway.Second, on our final night, the oven completely failed to heat up, meaning my birthday dinner was ruined and I was left with no choice but to eat basic snacks. Third, we were policed and made to feel incredibly uncomfortable by staff at 4:00 PM on a weekend afternoon for playing normal, ambient daytime music for my birthday. To make matters worse, when I emailed management to complain, they refused a refund and actually LIED to cover themselves. They claimed the oven worked fine and was just "switched off at the wall." I have clear, time-stamped video evidence showing the wall switch explicitly turned ON while the oven remained completely dead. They charge luxury prices (£300 a night) for broken amenities, interrupt your day, and then lie to avoid giving you a refund. Absolutely shocking customer care. Save your money and go somewhere else where paying guests are actually treated with respect.

A great base for peace and quiet after busy days Lovely time at Quarry walk park. Log cabin is great, probably in need of a refresh at some point but it's well equipped, beds are comfortable and hot tub is great after a long day at Alton Towers. Staff are friendly and quick to respond to any queries and maintenance issues. Nice and peaceful site. Would highly recommend and we'll be booking again.

Perfect Little Getaway We stayed in the Robin Cabins for the second time and as per usual it was amazing. There were a couple of little bits in the hut which had seen better days but other than that, the staff were helpful and friendly and it was perfectly situated close enough to town for a little outing but far enough away to escape. The dogs love it and it's perfect for them and their reactive nature.
