Yes your pets deserve a holiday too! We have some pet friendly lodges, log cabins and glamping pods, please add on a pet at the time of booking. We allow strictly two dogs per accommodation, for any other pets please contact us on 01538 723412 or quarry@quarrywalkpark.co.uk

Yes you may book in up to 3 visitors to the site per day. All visitors must report to reception and are charged at £10 per day for adults and £5 per day for children under 16 years. We do ask that all visitors leave the site by 11pm and we reserve the right to ask any guests to leave the site immediately if they do not comply with the site T&Cs especially regarding behaviour.

The phone signal around the site does depend on your device and network but is limited so we recommend by the park gates for the best signal.

You can join the local wifi service and purchase one of their data packages for your stay. We do have routers installed in each Lodge, Log cabin and Glamping Pod so you can arrange this once you check in from your accommodation or add it onto your booking before arrival. Prices start from £10 for 5 devices for 1 day, £15 for 3 days or £25 for 7-days.

Due to our location we cannot guarantee either a phone signal or WiFi strength. We cannot accept bookings that are wholly reliant on the uninterrupted provision of this service. We recommend switching off and enjoying your escape from everyday life!

One of our most frequently asked questions! We have an abundance of wildlife on the park including birds, squirrels and deer but we are yet to discover bears in the woods. You will however find Mr Tubbs our park mascot at reception.

Your Accommodation

All of our Lodges & Log Cabins have their own hot tub, towels and bed linen are also included along with a welcome pack of milk, tea/coffee, toiletries, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and toilet rolls. Each kitchen is fully equipped with appliances including a dishwasher and stocked with pots, pans, utensils, glasses, crockery and cutlery. Each one will have at least one TV and DVD player, please see specific accommodation pages from more information about what is included in each type.

Each Bluebell & Daisy Glamping Pod has a full size double bed with bedding included, please bring your own towels or add on towel rental at the time of booking. The en-suite bathroom has a hydro massage shower, sink and toilet. The kitchenettes in these pods include a mini fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and hob along with pots and pans, utensils, crockery and cutlery. You will also get the use of a communal firepit & BBQ area. The Wild Flower & Bluebell & Daisy Plus pods also have a double bunkbed and sleep up to 6 people.

All of our Lodges & Log Cabins have a hot tub, these are drained, cleaned and refilled between every stay. The team will also visit each morning to test your hot tub.

Please note our Daisy, Bluebell & Wildflower Glamping Pods do not have hot tubs.

On Site

Our lodges & log cabins all have their own brick BBQ, you can either bring charcoal & firelighters with you or purchase them from our shop. You will find BBQ utensils provided in your kitchen.

The Bluebell, Wild Flower & Daisy Glamping Pods have a communal firepit, either bring your own logs & kindling with you or you can purchase them from our shop. Please do not use wood from our trees. There is also space to use disposable BBQ’s and you may bring your own gas BBQ to use in this area. Unfortunately, we can’t allow BBQ’s on your pod decking area. Utensils & a Marshmallow tree are provided in your pod.

If you are staying on our caravan & motorhome site you are welcome to use your own BBQ as long as it is raised off the ground. We do not allow any open fires or firepits on these fields.

You will find electric car charging points at Morrisons in Cheadle or Lidl in Uttoxeter. Unfortunately due to our capacity you cannot charge your vehicle from your accommodation. A £100 charge will be given to anyone found charging their vehicle onsite. Your nearest petrol station is in Tean, ST10 4JF

We have a small shop on-site which has essentials and some very tasty treats from local suppliers. The nearest supermarkets are in Cheadle just 7 minutes from the park. You’ll find a list in your welcome folder with postcodes, please check individual opening times. There is a Asda, Morrisons, B&M & Aldi. The big Supermarkets also deliver to site, please meet your driver at reception or if it is within Reception opening hours we can send them to your accommodation, just add your accommodation number to the delivery notes.

There are a great selection of takeaways in Cheadle and nearby and most deliver to the park. You will find a list of our favorite ones in the welcome book with contact numbers, we also have menu’s in reception. Please meet your driver at the reception carpark if it is outside Reception opening hours.

Alton Towers is less than 5 miles from the park, so it makes a great base for your adventures. We also have some amazing attractions nearby, Park Wildlife Park 7 miles, Trentham Estate 11 miles, the Potteries 11 miles and the nearest Pub/Restaurant just a mile away.

Bookings and Payments

Yes our gift vouchers are available in £25, £50, £100, £150, £200 & £300 options and are valid for 12 months. Just follow the link:

You will receive an email 3 days before your arrival with the link and instructions to your £100 security deposit. This must be completed by midday on your arrival day. Please make sure there are funds of £100 in your account before you attempt this. As it is an authorisation of the card it may not show as taken on your account or it may show as pending. If we do need to take the funds for breakages or lost keys we will notify you.

If you do not receive the email before arrival please contact us directly. Some booking agents do not send us guest email addresses so we will need this from you to send the email.

Yes please get in touch with reception directly by email, WhatsApp or through any of our social channels and we will arrange this for you.

Our glamping pods and touring pitches are available for stays of just one night, up to a maximum of 28 nights.

Lodges and log cabins generally have a two-night minimum stay.

Yes, occasionally. We do offer one-night late availability special offers on lodges and log cabins. Keep an eye on our special offers page for the latest deals.

Glamping pods and touring pitches can be booked for up to 28 nights. If you are interested in a longer stay in a lodge or log cabin, please get in touch and we will do our best to help.

Cancellations

Our cancellation policy is based on how far in advance you cancel before your arrival date:

More than 60 days before arrival: 60% refund of the total booking value
30 to 59 days before arrival: 50% refund of the total booking value
8 to 29 days before arrival: 30% refund of the total booking value
7 days or less before arrival: No refund

Yes, a £50 deposit is taken at the time of booking to secure your reservation. Please note that this deposit is non-refundable.

Not a full refund, no. Even if you cancel more than 60 days before your arrival, the refund is 60% of the total booking value. The £50 deposit is also non-refundable regardless of when you cancel.

If you cancel 7 days or less before your arrival date, no refund will be issued.

Bookings are not transferable unless we have expressly agreed to this in writing. If you would like to discuss your options, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to help.

Yes, we strongly recommend that all guests obtain suitable travel insurance before their stay. This can help protect you in the event of unexpected cancellations or other circumstances outside your control.

Such a beautiful location and the lodges have everything you could need , so clean and tidy and even had a shop onsite  . Hot tub was the best we have used and was so large and under cover , was so cosy when it was as raining late on the evening , I would highly recommend.

This is a great park for stay and we loved our pod which has mostly all facilities you need, specially having a shower inside the room is a big plus! The location is also nice, you could drive for a few miles and can do walk/hike in peak district. We found it expensive tho, £130 for one pod is quite alot. The only reason I am giving it a 4-star is because of reception and miscommunication. Before arrival, I had multiple emails from them saying reception is open till 7 pm. We wanted to purchase some woods for the firepit and reception lady was not helpful at all. She did not sell us the woods even tho it was during opening hours and we had to drive a few miles to purchase it from Asda, quite annoying! But other than that, we had a lovely stay

We just got back as a family from our woodland escape holiday... the Lodge was so lovely, it well presented with lots of homey touches. The hot tub was already to go which was perfect for the kids. Great customer service with using WhatsApp and friendly staff on the site.  Have to say thank you as my son with autism wrap up his teddy since he had since he was 2 and I didn't realise they rang us up saying we had left him behind,  luckily had family in the area who go and get the teddy for us. Definitely recommend the park and love to come back again.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The online booking process was straightforward, and the lodge is in a good location. However, the signage could be better placed, both before arriving at the site and within the grounds, as it was not immediately obvious where to go or how to find the individual lodges/pods. The lodge itself was comfortable, although a few things in the room were already a little faulty or not working as they should. This was particularly concerning because the terms and conditions state that guests may be charged for broken or damaged items. As some things were already not in perfect condition when we arrived, it made us feel uneasy and worried that we could potentially be held responsible for something that was already faulty, which affected our overall experience. There could also be more plug sockets, particularly for guests needing to charge phones and laptops, as the only convenient sockets were right beside the induction hob. The Wi-Fi was disappointing, especially as it was an additional charge. We arrived after the office had closed and were given the wrong password, meaning we couldn't use the Wi-Fi on our first night and had no one available to help. The office closing at 5pm also felt too early, particularly given the location and the possibility of guests arriving later in the day. Even after the Wi-Fi issue was resolved, the connection was not particularly good. The fire pit was also misleadingly advertised, and unfortunately the money paid for it was not refunded straight away, which was disappointing. Overall, the lodge itself was pleasant, but the customer service could be improved. Staff should be more welcoming, understanding and accommodating, particularly when guests encounter issues during their stay. A more guest-focused approach, with great customer service would have made this trip more enjoyable
