For self-catering accommodation near Alton Towers Resort and the Peak District our log cabins and lodges with their own Hot Tubs are the ideal base to take a break with the family or for a romantic getaway. Or choose our Bluebell Glamping pods which are fully furinished and include communal firepits for toasting marshmallows after a day of exploring. All set in a quiet area of woodland so you can fully appreciate the surrounding scenery and abundance of wildlife all year round. Mobile network and wifi (subject to charges) are not guaranteed throughtout the park due to our rural location. Bookings are not taken if they are entirly relient on wifi.

Your accommodation is set within 46 acres of tranquil Staffordshire woodland. If you go exploring you may come across a variety of wildlife, including rabbits, hares, badgers, squirrel and muntjac deer. There is nothing more relaxing than watching the birds outside. We often see wagtails, robins, woodpeckers and if you listen carefully, we have many Owls that live on site.
The park has been family owned since 2003, starting originally as a caravan and camping site. We built our first log cabin in 2004 and carried on every year since with cabins, lodges and glamping pods. Previously the site was a sand and gravel Quarry dating back to the 1900’s. We try and run as self-sufficiently as possible, even the water from your tap is straight from the parks own borehole and it’s perfect for drinking.
Our park mascot is Mr Tubbs the bear, you can visit him at reception, and he loves a photo! He is carved out of one huge tree and is birthday is the 14th December.
